York RLFC launch chocolate bar line raising money for local charity

York RLFC are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with York's Chocolate Story and St Leonard's Hospice to create our own line of York RLFC chocolate bars!
The chocolate bars are each wrapped with an amber or silver stripe ribbon design and embellished with a Knights or Valkyrie emblem.
The 'Knights' chocolate bars come as a salted caramel milk chocolate and the 'Valkyrie' bars milk chocolate.
50% of all profits from each chocolate bar will go to local charity St Leonard's Hospice!
Stuart Wood, General Manager at York’s Chocolate Story, said:
“We are thrilled to be partnering with York RLFC to launch these exclusive chocolate bars. With 50% of the profits benefiting St Leonard’s Hospice, we are proud to support the exceptional care and services the hospice provides to our community.”
James Wainwright, Head of Fundraising at St Leonard’s Hospice, said:

York RLFC Chairman, Clint Goodchild added:

York RLFC 'Knights' and 'Valkyrie' chocolate bars will be on sale from York's Chocolate Story and the York RLFC Club Shop from Monday 29th July.
On the 7th August, a special launch of which York RLFC invites all to attend at York's Chocolate Story will take place from 12-4pm featuring Knights and Valkyrie players plus plenty of chocolate!
What a fantastic idea and a very attractive looking product. If it tastes as good as it looks then even as a frugal Yorkshire man, I'll have to buy some and then some more. The mens and womens rugby league is very good as well and thats from a Halifax supporter.
