York RLFC launches "Women of York"!

York RLFC is launching its newest arm of the club, "Women of York"!

It’s a vibrant gathering designed to connect, inspire, and empower women across industries at a variety of high-class events.

Here at York RLFC, we are all about championing women on and off the field, from our women’s team, York Valkyrie, to our backroom staff.

"Women of York" is a series of four annual events hosted at a variety of locations, featuring a Key Speaker in elegant settings, allowing a diverse group of dynamic women to connect.

Our first event is being held at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday 25th May for the York Valkyrie v Leeds Rhinos fixture, the first home Betfred Women’s Super League fixture for the Valkyrie in 2025.

This event will feature a Bottomless Brunch, hosted by British sports journalist and presenter Tanya Arnold, with our key speaker Nita Shah-Evans, an Executive Coach specialising in leadership to support growth and success. It will be followed by the chance to watch our very own York Valkyrie take on Leeds Rhinos out on the field.
