York RLFC offers 15 free places to York 10k

York RLFC are offering 15 free places to the 2024 York 10k Race For All on Sunday 4th August to raise money for the Club's Foundation.

The York 10k starts and finishes on Knavesmire Road, next to York Racecourse, taking in some of the city’s most historic landmarks, including the ancient City Walls, Clifford’s Tower and the York Minster.

Participants willing to represent York RLFC and raise funds for the Club's Foundation are asked to aim for a minimum fundraising target of £100 by Friday 1st September, in order to cover costs associated with the event and support the Club.

The York RLFC Foundation team are here from the moment you sign up to the very end to ensure that you can meet and exceed this target!

York RLFC Foundation Community Coach Mark Prangnell said: "We are delighted to offer this opportunity once again for volunteers to run the York 10k and raise much needed funds for the Foundation.

"We want to build on last year's success where we raised over £2,000. All funds raised from this year's York 10k Race For All will once again go directly towards our work in the local community, our Wheelchair Rugby League Team, Excel Player Development Programme and our Disability Rugby League Team."

Anyone who has already purchased a space on the York 10k directly through Run For All can still raise money for the York RLFC Foundation should they wish, but will not be given a fundraising target.
