York Valkyrie booked their place in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Semi-Finals for the third straight season, after a dominant 54-0 win over Cardiff Demons at the LNER Community Stadium.
Geoff Pryce Player of the Match, in partnership with Isaac Poad Brewing, Georgie Hetherington finished with four of York's 10 tries, with Sinead Peach bagging a double and Jas Bell, Tamzin Renouf, Rhiannion Marshall and Liv Gale also crossing the whitewash.
The convincing win sees York earn a Semi-Final date against reigning Betfred Women's Challenge Cup holders St Helens on the weekend of 22nd/23rd July, at a neutral venue to be confirmed.
York took just four minutes to move in front as Sade Rihari - making her first Valkyrie start - fired a bullet pass to put Hetherington over.
Bell doubled the lead on a dozen minutes, crashing under the sticks from Peach's short pass and allowing Tara Jane Stanley to convert her first of six goals from nine attempts.
Peach turned from provider to scorer when she squirmed over the line before another fine Rihari pass gave Hetherington her second.
Renouf wrapped up the first-half scoring when he raced over from the halfway line, with Marshall converting.
Hetherington completed her hat-trick three minutes into the second half as York outnumbered Cardiff down the right.
Peach then offloaded close to the line to allow Marshall to add her name to the scoresheet before the hooker darted over from dummy-half to round off her brace.
Gale side-stepped her way over from Peach's delayed pass before Hetherington grabbed her fourth with four minutes left, taking York to the half-century.
