York Valkyrie v Warrington Wolves & York Knights v London Broncos: Match Day Guide

If you’re coming to the LNER Community Stadium for Sunday’s double header of York Valkyrie v Warrington Wolves in the Betfred Women’s Super League (12pm) and York Knights v London Broncos in the Betfred Championship (3pm), here’s everything you need to know!


Turnstiles open:

11:30am


Tickets:

Match Day tickets can be bought in advance HERE or at the Stadium ticket desk in the main foyer of the stadium in person on the day.


Tickets are priced at £22 for Adults, £17 for Concessions (16 to 21-year-olds and over 65s) and FREE for Under 16s!


The ticket includes both games.


A pass-in, pass-out system at the Turnstiles will also be in place to allow supporters to exit and re-enter the LNER Community Stadium during the afternoon.


How To Get To The Stadium

The LNER Community Stadium is located three miles from York city centre.

Please be aware that Rougier Street will be closed this Sunday, so there may be some delays in getting to the Stadium.


Parking

York RLFC are pleased to be able to offer FREE parking on all our home matchdays in 2025, subject to availability in our Matchday Car Park, which is located within the Monks Cross Park and Ride Car Park.


The Monks Cross Park and Ride Car Park (YO32 9JU) is situated next door to the LNER Community Stadium and has an ample 400 spaces for matchday users.


No pass is required to park in the Monks Cross Park and Ride Car Park.


Please be aware that ANPR systems are in place across other Car Parks in the Monks Cross site.


Limited disabled parking can be arranged through the Club Shop (Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm), over the phone (01904 670880) or by emailing info@yorkrlfc.com


Buses

The Monks Cross area is served by a number of bus routes, providing regular services from the city centre and surrounding areas.


The most frequent, Park and Ride service 9, departs every 10 minutes from York city centre. More information can be found HERE.


There are also a number of on and off-road walking and cycling routes from York city centre, Huntington, Heworth and beyond. Over 300 cycle (uncovered) stands are positioned around LNER Community Stadium. All external areas are covered by CCTV.


Club Shop

The Club Shop will be open from 11:30pm until kick off, and again at the end of the match.

Before The Game

There are food and drink concessions in our Fanzone areas in the stadium concourse.


“Pot of Gold” tickets will also be on sale in those areas, to raise funds for Squad Builder.


Community Clubs' Rugby League Festival

We also have a Community Clubs' Rugby League Festival on Sunday from 10am at York St.John University Playing Fields, Haxby Road, York!


Under 7s, under 9s and Under 11s teams will take part from Heworth, New Earswick All Blacks, York Acorn, Goole and Beverley.


Players from the tournament will also get the chance to be pre-match mascots, and be paraded in front of the crowd at half time.


Match Day Programmes

This season, we are producing a Digital Match Day programme. Keep an eye out for the QR codes in the stadium concourses, from which you can download a copy!

BBC Radio York is also providing full match commentary of both York Valkyrie v Warrington Wolves and York Knights v London Broncos.


The build up to the Knights game starts at 2pm, and you can listen that game on BBC Radio York or via BBC Sounds by clicking HERE .
