York RLFC Foundation is delighted to confirm our latest School Holiday programme, with more sessions taking place across York!

York RLFC Foundation School Holiday programme plays a crucial role in our local community by offering children enjoyable, active, and free sessions, inspiring the next generation of York Knights and York Valkyrie stars.

Over the course of this year, the York RLFC Foundation have organised more than 100 sessions across dozens of venues with over 2500 children attending.

Our events typically catered for children aged 5-12 and were all open-access, free-to-attend with no pre-booking required. Refreshments were provided for all attendees, including fruit, snacks, and drinks. Our extended thanks to our partner Simon Baynes Wholesale for supplying the fruit for all our holiday sessions.

WHAT: Free turn up & play, multi-Sports Sessions
WHO: Suitable for children aged 5 -12 years
TO BOOK: No need to book, just turn up on the day!

2 - 4pm Arron Place, King George's Field (off Dodsworth Avenue) YO31 8SF (Inflatable)

Thursday 28th May
10am-12pm Archbishop of York's Church of England Junior School (AYJS), School Field, Copmanthorpe Lane, Bishopthorpe YO23 2QT (inflatable)
2pm-4pm Ward-funded Acomb Green, YO26 5LL (inflatable)

Friday 29th May
10.30am-12pm Viking Road Play Area, Acomb, YO26 5EZ (Mulit Sports)
2pm-3.30pm Strensall Green, North Fields, Park, YO32 5XW (mulit sports)

Parents with children aged 8 and under are required to stay at the session for the duration whilst their child is present.

Please can we ask all children attending to wear suitable sports clothing and avoid wearing jewellery.
