School Holidays
The York RLFC Foundation regularly host busy school holiday programmes for children across York & North Yorkshire. The aim is not only to inspire the next generation of Knights & Valkyrie players, but also to play a vital role in helping make holidays more enjoyable. These events are generally made up of our familiar free, turn up and play outreach community sessions, and a series of day camps which do require advance booking.
May Half-Term holiday programme
We will be holding our popular, free, turn up and play inflatable sessions (weather dependant) for children aged 5+ at venues within York on the following dates:

Multi-sports sessions
Our free, turn up and play multi-sports sessions will be taking place at the following venues for ages 5+ on the following dates:
Tuesday 30th May: 10am – 12pm
Heworth ARLFC, YO31 1DX
Friday 2nd June: 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Arran Place play area, King George’s Field (off Dodsworth Avenue), Fossway.
Multi – Sports Day Camps
Once again, we will be running one of our popular multi-sports day camps in York. Our day camp offers children of all abilities the opportunity to engage in multi-sports for both boys and girls. This day camp will consist of a variety of sports and games as we look to make the holiday period fun, engaging and informative. All children attending will need to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. Fruit and snacks will be provided during the day.

TIME: 10am – 3pm
AGE: 5 – 12-Year-olds
COST: £15, or limited number of free places available to children living within the Heworth Ward boundary
TO BOOK: Thanks to funding from Heworth Ward we have a number of free places available to children who live within the Heworth Ward boundary. These are available on a first come first served basis.
