Touch Rugby League is a fast, fun and inclusive way to enjoy rugby league - and York RLFC has been leading the way for over a decade,
This low contact version of the game keeps all the excitement of rugby league while making it accessible to everyone. No experience? No problem. Touch Rugby League can be played by people of all ages, abilities, genders and fitness levels.
Whether you're a former player or coach, returning to the sport after some time away, or completely new to rugby league, Touch Rugby League offers something for everyone. It's social, welcoming and a great way to stay active, meet new people and be part of a growing community.
The emphasis on running, agility, ball handling and, above all, having fun. One of the sport's biggest strengths is its inclusivity, with families playing together alongside ex-players, current players, and those trying rugby league for the very first time. The rules are simple, sessions are relaxed and new participants are always made to feel welcome.
Pocklington Touch Rugby League
Launched in 2025, Pocklington Touch Rugby League has quickly become one of the area's fastest-growing clubs.
Just 13 miles from York, Pocklington is now home to a thriving Touch Rugby League community, driven by the passion and commitment of former York Knights player, Jack Stearman, alongside a growing group of local players who simply wanted to give it a go.
From April to July, Pocklington Touch provices weekly sessions every Wednesday, 7-8pm for adults aged 18+, held at Pocklington Football Club. The York RLFC Foundation is proud to support the club's continued growth and success while helping to expand Touch Rugby League across the region. Sessions are priced at £3 per session.

Registration
For Touch Rugby, York RLFC Foundation are asking participants to complete two registration forms prior to attendance, one for our own planning and records and one for the RFL for insurance purposes.
