Owen moved to York in May 2022 after a six-month spell away from rugby league.

Owen previously featured for Castleford Tigers, scoring a try in the 2019 Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final.

Owen has featured in 2 BWSL Grand Finals: 2019 for Castleford and 2022 for York.

The Castleford-born forward was part of the England Performance Unit in 2020 but the coronavirus pandemic halted her international debut.

In July last year, Owen was named in the England Knights squad.
