Andrade

Second-Row

Andrade joined York in May 2021 from Bradford Bulls and made an immediate impression – scoring a hat-trick in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Semi-Final victory over Castleford Tigers (32-4).

Andrade’s 2021 performances earnt her an England debut in the 40-4 victory away to France.

The Huddersfield-born talent dropped out of the England set-up before last year’s World Cup but returned in January when she was selected in the National Performance squad.

Andrade is the sister of Jamaica international and North Wales Crusaders Jordan Andrade, formerly of Bradford Bulls.

In 2021, Andrade represented Jamaica in the Quest For Gold 7s Tournament in Los Angeles, scoring two tries against Mexico.

Andrade won the inaugural 2017 BWSL Grand Final with Bradford Bulls, beating Featherstone Rovers 36-6.

She also featured in the 2022 BWSL Grand Final for York, losing 12-4 to Leeds Rhinos.

Andrade began her rugby league career at community club Huddersfield St Joseph’s.
