A Canadian international, Pakulis returns to York for a second spell, after time in 2025 in the NRL with Gold Goast Titans.

In her first spell, she proved to be a shrewd signing for the Valkyrie after joining midway through 2024.

The second-row forward made 11 appearances and scored five tries, as York went on to retain the Women’s Super League title.

Pakulis has 13 caps for her country, including four from the 2017 World Cup, and three from the 2021 World Cup, where she caught the eye with some powerful performances.

She scored the first ever try for Canada in the 2017 World Cup against Papua New Guinea.
