England star Partington is York Valkyrie’s headline signing of the off-season, with the winger providing a proven try-scoring record at the elite level of the sport.

Parington arrives from St Helens where she won the Betfred Challenge Cup in 2022 and 2023, scoring two tries in the former Final against Leeds Rhinos at Elland Road and also on the scoresheet in the latter Final against Leeds at Wembley Stadium.

The winger’s performances saw her earn an England call-up last year, scoring a try on her international debut against France and going on to feature against Wales later that year.

The Manchester-born star won the St Helens Players’ Player of the Year in 2023 and the club’s Young Player of the Year award in 2022.
