The 30-year old centre or full back featured in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup for Canada, alongside another Valkyrie, Megan Pakulis. She made three appearances, playing in all the group matches.

She was selected for the Canadian World Cup squad in 2017, only to miss out on playing in the tournament after picking up a knee injury in training.

Woods is her country’s top try scorer, and is involved in developing rugby league in Canada.

With a background in rugby union, Woods was also a competitive gymnast and dancer.
