28 year old Donovan, who has NRLW experience with Paramatta Eels, moves to York after a successful season in 2025 at Cronulla Sharks.

After eight tries in 15 appearances in the top flight in Australia for the Eels, Donovan went on to captain the Sharks in the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership.

She led them to win the Grand Final last season, and named as the competition’s Player of the Year. 

Donovan gained representative honours when she was selected for the Australian Indigenous squad in 2024/25.
