The longest-serving player in the York squad, Hyde first joined York Ladies over a decade ago in 2012.

The winger has seen plenty of change in the meantime and been part of the Valkyrie’s capture of a maiden Grand Final last year and the record successive League Leaders’ Shields in 2022 and 2023.

Hyde caught the national headlines in 2021 when returning to the playing field just seven weeks after giving birth to her son Finlay.

A valued member of the rugby league community in York, Hyde’s sister Robyn, who has mild cerebral palsy, plays for York RLFC’s LDRL side.
