Izumi joined York in the off-season from Oulton Raidettes.

Izumi previously worked under Valkyrie Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield at Castleford Tigers.

The Tokyo-born winger was previously part of England’s Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme, the first step on the England Performance Pathway.
