The arrival of Roberts provided some key late-season impetus to the Valkyrie last season, with the centre scoring six tries from as many appearances as a maiden Grand Final and a record second successive League Leaders’ Shield was secured.

Roberts arrived at York after a brief spell in retirement following a decorated spell with St Helens, where she won the treble of the Grand Final, Challenge Cup and League Leaders’ Shield in 2021.

The former England star first debuted on the international stage in 2015 and represented her nation at the World Cup in 2022.
