One of the brightest young talents in the Betfred Women’s Super League, Gale continues to go from strength to strength with each season in the competition.

Lindsay Anfield signed Gale from Oulton Raidettes ahead of the 2022 season, with the Leeds-born star going on to play a key role in York’s capture of the League Leaders’ Shield, often featuring as the side’s sole out-and-out half-back.

The Farnley Falcons product kicked on again in 2023, contributing 16 assists and five tries from 16 appearances as York won a record-breaking second successive League Leaders’ Shield and a maiden Grand Final.

Gale’s performances saw her rewarded with the Valkyrie’s 2023 Young Player of the Year award and a first call-up to the England Knights squad earlier this year.
