Wood signed for York in May 2021 from Bradford Bulls.

Wood shared the Players’ Player of the Year in 2022 with Hollie-Mae Dodd.

Wood featured in the 2022 BWSL Grand Final for York.

In June last year, Wood made her England debut against Wales, starting at prop in the 32-6 win.

The Huddersfield-born prop went on to make three appearances for England during the World Cup last year, scoring one try, against Brazil.

Wood played her community rugby league for Huddersfield St Joseph’s ARLFC.
