England international Stanley is one of the stars of the game, with one of the best kicking games in the Betfred Women’s Super League while equally as deadly running at defenders.

Stanley joined York from Castleford Tigers ahead of the 2022 and enjoyed a dream debut year, winning the Woman of Steel as she guided York to the League Leaders’ Shield - the team’s first piece of major silverware.

A third Woman of Steel nomination followed in 2023 for Stanley as the Valkyrie secured an historic retention of their League Leaders’ Shield and won a maiden Grand Final title.

A knee injury ended her 2024 season prematurely and kept her out of the whole of 2025. She’s targeting a return to the side in 2026.
