YORK Valkyrie will start their 2023 Betfred Women’s Super League season with a rematch of last year’s Grand Final at Leeds Rhinos on Easter Sunday 9th April (TBC).
The fixture will start the Betfred Women’s Super League season and form part of a double header at Headingley Stadium, as Leeds Rhinos men’s side taking on Huddersfield Giants in the Betfred Super League at 6pm.
The Valkyrie will then face Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup holders St Helens on Sunday 16th April (3pm) at the LNER Community Stadium in their first home fixture of the year.
Lindsay Anfield’s side have two more home fixtures, hosting newly-promoted Warrington Wolves on Sunday 28th May (TBC) as part of the Betfred Championship Summer Bash and then entertaining Wigan Warriors on Sunday 2nd July (12pm) as part of a double-header with York Knights’ clash with Halifax Panthers in the Betfred Championship (3pm).
York travel to Huddersfield Laund Hill to face Huddersfield Giants on Sunday 9th July (2pm) before Leeds travel to the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday 16th July (12pm) for the year’s second double header, as York Knights meet Sheffield Eagles (3pm).
The Valkyrie visit the Totally Wicked Stadium to take on St Helens on Friday 28th July (5:30pm). The Betfred Super League clash between St Helens and Leeds Rhinos follows the Betfred Women’s Super League fixture.
Anfield’s squad will make trips to Warrington Wolves’ Victoria Park on Sunday 6th August (2pm) and Wigan Warriors' Robin Park on Sunday 20th August (12pm).
The 2023 regular season closes out with a home clash against Huddersfield Giants on Sunday 10th September (3pm).
