Head Coach James Ford has named his preliminary squad for Sunday’s trip to Leeds Rhinos’ Headingley Stadium for our Summer Bash fixture against Newcastle Thunder (6:15pm).
The headline news sees full-back Matty Marsh and captain Chris Clarkson return to contention after a three-game and one-game absence respectively.
Those returns come as Pauli Pauli drops out for his one-match ban following the suspension picked up against Batley Bulldogs a fortnight ago.
The return of Marsh gives Ford something of a selection dilemma with Joe Brown – last weekend’s full-back – impressing in the number one position while wingers Brad Ward and AJ Towse both added their name to the scoresheet.
Will Oakes, Masi Matongo and Bailey Antrobus continue to be absent from selection with the hope that the latter will return in the coming weeks.
