The draws will be conducted by Paul Sculthorpe MBE and Vicky Molyneux, and shown live on BBC Sport from 6pm. Sculthorpe is a four-time cup winner with St Helens and a member of England coach Shaun Wane’s backroom team. Wigan Warriors’ Rochdale-born Molyneux is hoping to represent England at this year’s World Cup – 15 years since her debut in 2007.

Rochdale Hornets chief executive Steve Kerr says: “We’re thrilled to host the Betfred Challenge Cup draw to mark our centenary since our 1922 Cup win. It was a special moment in the club’s history which we are determined to mark this year. It would be great if we could progress and maybe even draw Hull FC in the later rounds of the competition.

“I’m delighted to share it with the Rochdale business community and welcome our special guests Paul Sculthorpe MBE and our very own Rochdale star Vicky Molyneux, who features in the England squad. She has been busy coaching and inspiring girls in Rochdale to take up rugby league.”

Rochdale will have double representation in the Third Round draw, following Rochdale Mayfield’s impressive win at West Hull on Saturday.

But it was renowned Castleford community club Lock Lane who produced the result of the Second Round by shocking the professionals of Oldham in a stormy Sunday night tie last weekend.  The game was in the balance at 16-12 before player of the match Nathan Fozzard converted a late try to secure a famous 22-12 victory.

Lock Lane are one of six community teams in the draw, joining Hunslet Club Parkside, Rochdale Mayfield, Siddal, York Acorn and the Royal Navy.
