Club Statement – IMG Grading Top 14

We’re proud to confirm that York RLFC has achieved our strategic 2025 objective of breaking into the Top 14 in the latest IMG grading results. This is a large step forward for our Club, our city, and the entire North Yorkshire community.

In just two years, we’ve lifted our score from 10.05 to 13.04 which is proof of the hard work, belief, and progress being made right across the organisation. Every player, coach, staff member, partner, and most importantly, every fan who has stood with us — this achievement belongs to you.

It shows that York RLFC is a rising force. It shows that we belong in the Super League conversation. And it shows that when this city comes together, anything is possible.

We now wait a further 24 hours to find out whether our place in the Super League is confirmed — but regardless of the outcome, we can already be proud of what we’ve built and how far we’ve come.

We’re not done. We’re only getting started.
