Ford names squad for Newcastle

Head Coach James Ford has named his 21-Man Squad for Saturday’s trip to face Newcastle Thunder at Kingston Park, a match that will be his 200th in charge of the Knights.

He will be keen to see his side make it back-to-back wins as we approach the end-of-season Play-Offs and, after describing last weekend’s victory over Sheffield Eagles as the “beginning of a response,” will also want to see a further improved performance.

Coming back into contention for the match is Chris Clarkson, his return being the only alteration to the preliminary squad that secured a 20-12 win over Sheffield last Friday. Jacob Ogden is the man to drop out.

With the Knights currently sitting sixth in the Betfred Championship standings, two victories in our final matches of the regular season will keep the pressure on both Batley and Barrow, who currently sit in fourth and fifth, respectively.
