James Ford has named his 21-Man Squad for Sunday’s trip to face Whitehaven in Round Five of 2022’s Betfred Challenge Cup with three Knights youngsters potentially set to feature as we look to continue our cup run.
Victory on Sunday would potentially mean the Knights are just one game away from a final at the home of Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur with each of the five winners progressing into the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup.
Sam Davis and Will Jubb are the two hookers included in the squad, suggesting that the former is set to return to the playing fold with Kriss Brining absent. Newly re-signing Joe Porter has been included and could be in line to make his first appearance of the season.
Teenagers Myles Harrison, AJ Towse and Brad Ward are all included with the former potentially set to make his first appearance since playing a key role in our 6-10 win at Batley Bulldogs in last month’s Betfred Championship victory. Towse and Ward both starred in the previous round of the Challenge Cup with Ward scoring a memorable acrobatic effort in the dying stages.
Tickets will be available from the stadium on the day only with full ticketing information available HERE.
