Friend For A Fiver as Knights take on Swinton

York RLFC are delighted to reveal our ‘Friend For A Fiver’ offer for York Knights’ clash with Swinton Lions on Sunday 3rd September (3pm) at the LNER Community Stadium.

All York RLFC General Admission Season-Ticket holders are able to bring up to two friends - either Adults or Concessions (17-21-years-olds or over-65s) - for just £5 each!

This offer is also open to our Premier Club Season-Ticket holders, who can bring up to two friends for £15 each, half the price of a standard Premier Club match ticket.

To take advantage of our ‘Friend For A Fiver’ offer, which closes on Friday 1st September (5pm), please complete the following form by clicking HERE.

Payment and collection of ‘Friend For A Fiver’ tickets will take place at the Ticket Collection Point opposite the Club Shop.

Please note that ‘Friend For A Fiver’ does not apply to Under-16s, who can claim FREE General Admission tickets to all York RLFC matches.

York RLFC are also delighted to confirm that Heworth Masters will take on the Rugby League All Stars (12pm) as a curtain raiser before the Betfred Championship clash between York and Swinton on Sunday 3rd September.

Formed in 2016, Heworth Masters have played an average of 10 fixtures and festivals every season since, including an annual trip to Blackpool for a National Festival.

Heworth Masters players have gone on to represent Great Britain and England Masters while a meeting with GB All Stars took place 2018.

Heworth Masters, who train once a week at Elmpark Way, are always welcoming of new players, with interested parties asked to contact Adrian Cook through heworthrl.co.uk for more information.

The Club's first appearance at the LNER Community Stadium will see them face Rugby League All Stars, a team of ex-professionals and charity fundraisers.

Established in 2007, former Great Britain internationals Graham Steadman, Andy Gregory and Steve Hampson are among those to have represented Rugby League All Stars.

As well as providing fundraising for Life For A Kid Foundation, the team also provides an outlet for ex-players to stay involved in the sport, catch up with past team-mates and meet new people.

Masters Rugby League is a social version of the sport for the over-35s, with modified rules to cater for older players.

The rules vary according to age, with full tackles, standing grapple and touch used and indicated by short colours on the field.

Turnstiles for this fixture will open at 11.30am.
