Knights name preliminary squad for Widnes clash

York Knights have named their preliminary squad for Sunday's Betfred Championship clash with Widnes Vikings at the LNER Community Stadium (3pm).


Head Coach Andrew Henderson makes three changes to his squad following last weekend's thrilling 30-22 victory at Swinton Lions in the Betfred Championship.


Prop Jack Teanby returns to the fold alongside back-rower Harvey Reynolds while half-back Jack Potter is included on dual registration from Newcastle Thunder.


Full-back Will Dagger is out as he undergoes his concussion return-to-play protocols while Davy Litten and Franklin Pele drop out after the completion of their two-week loans from Hull FC.
