Marshall remains a Valkyrie!

York Valkyrie have retained Rhiannion Marshall until the end of 2027, thanks to support from Squad Builder!
The forward has signed a new two year deal, taking her into her sixth year with the club.
The former England international moved to York from Castleford Tigers in 2021, having also played in the Betfred Women’s Super League for Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls.
She was part of the Grand Final winning squads of 2023 and 2024, and last year made 14 appearances, scoring 10 tries and kicking five goals, featuring both in the pack and in the halves.
With a wealth of experience, Marshall brings a strong kicking game as well as strong runs and fierce defence to the Valkyrie squad.
Marshall said: "It was an easy decision for me to make.
"The club has always gone above and beyond for me.
"I'm sure these old legs still have some life in them so lets go!"
