York Knights have signed former St.Helens half back, Will Roberts for 2026, thanks to support from Squad Builder!
The 20-year old joined St.Helens aged 14, and progressed through the Scholarship programme.
After coming through the Under 18s, Roberts then joined the Academy, where he was part of the Championship winning team in 2023.
He moved into the first team squad in 2024, and spent time on loan at Swinton, Rochdale and Widnes Vikings before being released from Saints at the end of last season.
Coach, Mark Applegarth is thrilled to capture his signature.
"He comes very highly rated from St.Helens.
"They're blessed with an abundance of talent in the half backs and I've watched Will for a couple of years now.
"I really like what he's about. I think he's going to be a quality half back over the next two to three years."
