Valkyrie name preliminary squad for Wigan clash

York Valkyrie have named their preliminary squad for Sunday's Betfred Women's Super League clash against Wigan Warriors at the LNER Community Stadium (12pm).


Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield has made three changes to her squad following last weekend's 62-0 rout of Featherstone Rovers in the Betfred Women's Super League.


Lacey Owen is back in the squad having recovered from a knee injury while Carrie Roberts is available after a break owing to work commitments with the Army. Sheffield Eagles prop Lisa Parker comes into the side on dual registration.


Rhiannion Marshall (knee), Alex Stimpson (knee) and Remi Wilton (wrist/hamstring) drop out through injury while Izzy Brennan is also unavailable.
