York Valkyrie can confirm that forward Kacey Davies has agreed a dual registration agreement with Featherstone Rovers.
Davies arrived at York over the off-season from Wakefield Trinity, following past spells at Halifax Panthers and Bradford Bulls.
The back-rower has now signed dual registration terms with Betfred Women's Super League Group Two side Featherstone, allowing her to train with both clubs and receive regular game time with the Rovers.
Valkyrie Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield said: "Kacey has been training really hard since joining the Club and is developing well.
"But I feel as if we already have a lot of depth in the back-row, so she would struggle to get a lot of game time at the moment.
"I spoke to Marie Colley at Featherstone and asked if she could train and play with them, as well as us, to get the game time she needs, which she agreed to, which is great for Kacey and York."
York Valkyrie begin their home campaign in the 2023 Betfred Women's Super League against St Helens at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday 16th April (3pm).
