Valkyrie ready for Women's Nines Festival!

York Valkyrie take a break from the league this weekend to take part in the Women’s Nines Festival on Saturday at West Park Leeds RUFC!

The inaugural winners of the competition in 2022, the Valkyrie will compete in a day of thrilling matches, festivities and off-field fun.

All the teams from the Betfred Women’s Super League will be there, including last year’s winners and Betfred Challenge Cup holders, Wigan Warriors, along with some brand-new teams taking part for the first time.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan, a player, or brand new to the sport, the Women’s Nines Festival is your chance to celebrate and support Women’s Rugby League in style!

The Valkyrie have been drawn in Goup D, and they’ll face Leigh Leopards, Cardiff Demons and Wakefield Trinity as they battle for a place in the top two to qualify for the Championship Bracket.

Third place in the group puts teams in the Cup Competition, while fourth and fifth place battle it out in the Shield Play Offs.

Gates open at West Park Leeds RUFC at 10am, with the first kick off at 10.45am.

The Grand Final is at 3.50pm.

Tickets are priced at £5 for Adults and £3 for Children. A Family pass (2 Adults and 2 Children) is £10 and a Social Pass (4 Adults) is £15.
