Valkyrie retain Renouf!

York Valkyrie centre, Tamzin Renouf, is staying with the Valkyrie after signing a new contract, thanks to support from Squad Builder!

She’ll remain at the club for a further two years, after initially joining from Castleford Tigers in 2021.

Since moving to York, she’s gone from strength to strength, finishing as top try scorer in 2023, and earning a recall to the England squad that year for the first time since 2019.

Renouf has also shown versatility, switching from her more familiar position in the centres, to both second row and into the halves, where she played in the Betfred Super League Grand Final win over St.Helens in 2024. She spent most of 2025 at half back, scoring four times in 10 games in that position.

On staying at the club for a further two years, Renouf said: "I'm proud to re-sign with this club for my 6th year.

"I’m committed to working harder than ever, ready for whatever this season has in store, and focused on being the best player and teammate I can be."
