York Knights secured a third straight victory in the Betfred Championship after beating fourth-placed Sheffield Eagles at the LNER Community Stadium.
Liam Harris put York in front before Ben Jones-Bishop and Matty Dawson-Jones tries gave Sheffield a 12-6 lead at half-time.
Jason Bass, Jordan Thompson and Jesse Dee scores reasserted the Knights' advantage at 22-12 heading into the final five minutes.
Jesse Sene-Lefao crossed late on to set up a tense finale, but Liam Harris' late drop-goal sealed the two points.
Harris had earlier put York in front after a dozen minutes, the half-back collecting Cory Aston's grubber before racing the near length of the field to the line, taking him past 300 points for the Club.
The scorer added the extras, the first of three conversions from four attempts.
Sheffield equalised almost immediately. Jason Bass knocked-on the restart and from the scrum, Jones-Bishop dotted down on the right edge. Aston converted the first of three attempts at goal.
The Eagles established a 12-6 half-time lead three minutes before the interval when Dawson-Jones touched down from Bayley Liu offload after an Aston cut-out pass.
The Knights' comeback began when Bass acrobatically dived in at the right corner after some neat hands to the flank.
On the hour, Thompson put York back in front when feigning at the line before driving through two defenders before Dee continued his scoring streak, after a hat-trick at Keighley Cougars last week, when capitalising on a gap from a right-side shift play.
With just six minutes left, Sene-Lefao hit a short ball from Jack Hansen, cutting the gap to just four points with as many minutes left.
But Harris' drop goal would be the final action of the 80 minutes as the Knights sealed a third straight victory.
