York RLFC Foundation Confirms Latest School Holiday Programme!

York RLFC Foundation is delighted to confirm our Summer School Holiday programme, with more sessions taking place across York!
This summer, the York RLFC Foundation will stage over 55 sessions across a dozen venues and is set to reach more than 1,200 children.
York RLFC Foundation School Holiday programme plays a crucial role in our local community by offering children enjoyable, active, and free sessions, inspiring the next generation of York Knights and York Valkyrie stars.
Over the past 12 months, the York RLFC Foundation have organised more than 100 sessions across numerous venues, benefiting over 2500 children attending. We are looking to emulate this in 2025!
Our York-based events are targeted at children aged 5-13, and made up of our familiar FREE, turn-up-and-play multi-sport inflatable sessions.
The 2025 Summer School Holiday programme is delivered thanks to our several partners, which include support from the City of York Council’s Holiday Activities with Food (HAF) Programme and funding awarded through each Local Council Ward Committee.
All of our sessions listed below are open-access, free-to-attend sessions, thanks to the funding received.
For those events funded through the HAF scheme, eligible families can book through the Holiday Activities website to secure a food order which will be distributed at the session, as well as secure their place on the session. Eligible families will receive a code through your school. If you believe you are eligible but don’t receive a code, please speak to your school or use the contact details on the HAF website to request the code.
In the event of poor weather conditions, the Foundation will still attend the event and make a decision on the activity that is able to take place with the weather forecast in mind.
Refreshments will be provided for all attendees at a number of these events, including fruit, snacks, and drinks, thanks to Simon Baynes Wholesale.
