York RLFC Foundation are delighted to be hosting one of five Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League Festivals at the York St John University Sports Park on Saturday (11am)!
The Foundation will host 13 teams during this weekend's Community Integrated Care LDSL Festival, with sides representing Leeds Rhinos, Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers, Halifax Panthers, Sheffield Eagles, Wakefield Trinity, Hull FC and Bradford Bulls all in attendance alongside York RLFC.
Festivals have already been held this year by Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR while the Magic Weekend and Castleford Tigers will stage the final two events of the series.
Supporters are welcome to attend this weekend's Festival, with entry FREE for all and food and drink refreshments available from the York St John University Park Cafe.
York RLFC Foundation Inclusion Officer Dawn Shore said: "The Foundation are proud to be one of four clubs hosting a Community Integrated Care LDSL Festival this year, with more than 150 players anticipated to enjoy a memorable occasion.
"LDRL epitomises the inclusiveness of rugby league by providing a non-competitive form of the sport that is open to those with physical and learning disabilities while also giving them an opportunity to represent York RLFC.
"Having travelled to numerous Festivals around the country, everyone at the Foundation is excited to host our first LDRL Festival since 2021 and to showcase the valuable work of LDRL in enriching the lives of its participants."
Parking is available at the York St John University Car Park, with users of the facility entitled to 4 hours free parking on site, including a parent bringing a child under 18, by entering your registration plate at the terminal on the front desk.
Second cars and spectators can pay for parking by following the instructions on the signs around the car park. Parking for second cars and spectators is priced at 60p for four hours.
