York RLFC are delighted to announce that we will host a double header on Sunday 10th September with York Valkyrie facing Huddersfield Giants (3pm) and York Valkyrie Under-19s taking on Wigan Warriors Under-19s (12pm).
York Valkyrie will be seeking to conclude their Betfred Women’s Super League (BWSL) regular season with their unbeaten record still intact, having won eight and drawn one of their nine matches to date in 2023.
Having become the first team in the competition’s history to retain the BWSL League Leaders’ Shield after Sunday's 36-4 win at Wigan Warriors, the Valkyrie will get their hands on the silverware after the fixture against Huddersfield on Sunday 10th September.
Before Lindsay Anfield’s side take to the field, the Valkyrie Under-19s face Wigan Warriors, aiming to build on a promising inaugural year.
The Under-19s have already recorded wins against Warrington Wolves (36-10), Leeds Rhinos (26-4) and Huddersfield (36-8) in 2023 and will be hoping to claim another victory on their maiden appearance at the LNER Community Stadium.
Entry to the LNER Community Stadium will begin from 11.30am. Please note that all York RLFC Season-Tickets are valid for this fixture.
