York Knights return to Betfred Championship action at Bradford Bulls on Sunday (3pm)!
Itâs their first game since their AB Sundecks 1895 Cup triumph at Wembley, which saw them lift silverware at the national stadium for the first time.
Itâs also the first time the teams have come up against each other since the cup semi-final last month, which the Knights won 28-20.
Bradford are on a seven match winning run in the Championship and currently sit in second place in the table, behind leaders Toulouse Olympique only on points difference.
The Knights have managed seven wins out of eight and that has taken them up to fourth in the table, four points behind the Bulls.
Since batting it out for the League 1 title in 2018, there have been some tight games between the two clubs, and last year they managed one win each. While the Knights won 25-14 at the LNER Community Stadium, Bradford earned a 36-28 win in the reverse fixture in July.
Bulls coach, Brian Noble has built a strong squad as they look to get back into Super League. Former top flight players, Waqa Blake, Jayden Okunbor and James Donaldson are all part of the group, and this week, St.Helens centre, Konrad Hurrell has arrived on a two week loan. He could make his debut against the Knights.
For York, Ben Jones-Bishop will return to the squad after being cup tied for the game at Wembley. Jacques OâNeill is still ruled out with injury.
Tickets are on sale NOW for Sundayâs game between Bradford Bulls and York Knights at the Bartercard Odsal Stadium (3pm)!
