York City Knights Ladies’ fixture against Bradford Bulls Women on Sunday 4th July has been cancelled and the Knights awarded a 24-0 victory.
Bradford advised the RFL that, due to a number of injury and selection issues, they are unable to field a team for the match which was scheduled to be played as a double-header at the state-of-the-art LNER Community Stadium alongside the Knights’ Mens team.
As a club, York City Knights understand a number of our fans will be disappointed at not being able to see our Ladies’ team in action on Sunday. We are, however, looking at planning double-headers in the near future.
The team will next be in action against Warrington Wolves next weekend.
