Djeukessi signs deal with York Knights!
York Knights have signed winger, Andy Djeukessi on a one year deal, thanks to support from Squad Builder.
The 23 year-old arrives at York after a year at Newcastle Thunder where he made an impact, scoring 21 tries in 23 appearances.
He made one loan appearance for the Knights in Super League in 2026, on the wing in the win against St.Helens in August.
Djeukessi made his Super League debut for Castleford Tigers in 2025, a year when he also gained experience of regular game time on loan from Workington Town.
Joining York brings him back into a full time environment.
On signing for the Knights, Djeukessi said: "It means a lot to sign on this year.
"I'm excited to do my part and build on what was a historic year for the club."
Knights’ head coach, Mark Applegarth said: “He got a taste of Super League last year and I’m keen to let him build on that.
“Obviously he’s still young and raw and he’s got plenty of developing in him, but his athletic potential is really good. He’s got some really good attributes that suit top level rugby league.
“I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
