York RLFC are delighted to announce that five York Valkyrie stars have been named in England's 19-player squad to face Wales tomorrow at AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium (12pm).
Lacey Owen, Sinead Peach, Tamzin Renouf, Liv Wood and Tara Jane Stanley have all been selected in Head Coach Stuart Barrow's squad as playing vital roles in the Valkyrie's captures of the League Leaders' Shield and Grand Final in the Betfred Women's Super League
Owen is set to make her international debut after a stellar season, scoring nine tries in 13 appearances and winning the Club's Players' Player of the Year Award.
Meanwhile, York Valkyrie winger Georgia Taylor has been named in Wales' 20-player squad for the fixture, having scored her nation's only try in last weekend's 14-4 defeat away to France.
England's clash with Wales forms part of a double header at AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium, with England Men facing Tonga from 2.30pm.
