York Valkyrie will be seeking to secure top spot in Group Three of the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup when they visit Leigh Leopards on Sunday (2pm).
York head to Leigh Miners Rangers on the back of two dominant Group Three victories, beating Barrow Raider 4-44 at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium before recording a Club record 122-0 win over Hull KR at the LNER Community Stadium.
Although their place in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals is already sealed, the Valkyrie will be aiming to secure top spot in Group Three with a victory on Sunday.
Like York, Leigh have won their first two Group Three matches, edging past Barrow 30-22 and overcoming Hull KR 38-16.
In the process, the Leopards have become the first and only Betfred Women's Super League Group Two club to have already secured their place in the last eight.
Also similarly to the Valkyrie, Leigh have yet to lose in 2023, having drawn their sole BWSL Group Two fixture with Bradford Bulls 12-12.
Lindsay Anfield's Valkyrie side will be seeking a fifth straight win from as many matches in 2023, having began their BWSL season with wins over title rivals Leeds Rhinos (12-34) and St Helens (26-6) last month.
