Applegarth's right that these are the games you want to be playing in — Friday night at St Helens under the lights is exactly the kind of test that shows where the Knights really stand after that Round 9 performance. The bit about needing the traveling York army loud and proud is spot on too, away support genuinely lifts the players in tight Super League games. Speaking of getting things framed right, I had to crop image online last week when some match photos came out with way too much empty space around the action, and it made a surprising difference in how the highlights looked. Anyway, fingers crossed the discipline holds and we come away with the two points.
I like Applegarth’s mindset that these are exactly the games you want to be playing in, especially after that dominant Round 9 performance. Hopefully the squad carries that confidence into St Helens, and maybe brings a little cutle luck with them too.
I liked Mark Applegarth’s focus on staying disciplined and matching St Helens’ intensity rather than getting caught up in the occasion. That kind of mindset often makes the difference in big games, a bit like unwordle where patience usually works better than rushing a guess.
