York Valkyrie Director of Rugby Lindsay Anfield has confirmed her preliminary squad, in partnership with Inglis Chartered Accountants, for Sunday's 2023 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Group Three clash against Leigh Leopards at Leigh Miners (2pm).
Anfield makes three change to her preliminary squad following the 122-0 thrashing of Hull KR last time out in the Women's Betfred Challenge Cup earlier this month.
Matilda Butler, Eva Izumi and Chevelle Clarke come into the Valkyrie squad, with Savannah Andrade, Grace Field and Jess Sharp missing out.
Front-rower Jas Bell, who missed the 44-4 win at Barrow Raiders last time out in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup, returns to the fold, replacing winger Eva Izumi.
The Valkyrie will be aiming to continue their unbeaten start to 2023 following four straight victories over Leeds Rhinos (12-34), St Helens (26-6), Barrow Raiders (4-44) and Hull KR (122-0) as well as securing top spot in Group Three and a home tie in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals.

York Valkyrie will be seeking to secure top spot in Group Three in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup when they travel to Leigh Leopards on Sunday (2pm).
Adult tickets are priced at just £5, with Under-16s tickets priced at only £1. Tickets are only available on the gate.
