York Knights confirm preliminary squad for Whitehaven clash

York Knights have confirmed their preliminary squad, in partnership with Inglis Chartered Accountants, for Sunday's Betfred Championship clash against Whitehaven at the LNER Community Stadium (3pm).

Outside back Connor Barley, who signed on loan from Hull KR earlier this week, could make his York debut as the 18-year-old comes straight into the Knights' preliminary squad.

Fit-again half-back Ata Hingano returns to Andrew Henderson's squad after missing last weekend's 52-12 win over West Bowling in the Betfred Challenge Cup Third Round due to injury.

Forwards Ben Barnard and Jon Luke Kirby drop out out the preliminary squad due to injury.

James Cunningham, Pauli Pauli, Olly Butterworth, Jamie Ellis and Levi Edwards remain absent from the preliminary squad because of injury.
