York Knights have confirmed their preliminary squad, in partnership with Inglis Chartered Accountants, for Sunday's Betfred Challenge Cup Third Round tie against West Bowling at the LNER Community Stadium (3pm). Danny Kirmond returns to the squad after serving his one-match suspension during last week's 40-0 win at Swinton Lions at Heywood Road.
Matty Marsh is also back in Andrew Henderson's squad after missing the last three matches with an elbow injury and, if selected, will make his 100th appearance for York.
Levi Edwards and Ata Hingano drop out of the Knights side after picking up knocks against Swinton.
James Cunningham, Pauli Pauli, Olly Butterworth and Jamie Ellis remain absent from the preliminary squad because of injury.
Should the Knights overcome Impact Performance National Conference League Division One side West Bowling this weekend, the Knights would earn a Fourth Round spot for the weekend of April 1-2.
