Henderson names York Knights squad for Batley Bulldogs friendly

York Knights Head Coach Andrew Henderson has named an unchanged 19-player squad for Sunday's final pre-season friendly against Batley Bulldogs at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday (3pm).

Off-season recruits Josh Daley, Conor Fitzsimmons, Jon Luke Kirby, Harry Price and trialist Ben Pickles could make their first run-outs at home, having all featured in last week's 28-12 win at Doncaster RLFC.

Boss Henderson will led his Knights team out at the LNER Community Stadium for the first time since taking charge as Head Coach in October.

York face a Batley side that reached the Betfred Championship Grand Final last year, losing 44-12 to promotion winners Leigh Centurions.

The friendly will serve as a final warm-up match ahead of the Knights' league opener against Widnes Vikings on Sunday 5th February (3pm) at the LNER Community Stadium.

York Knights 19-man squad: Bailey Antrobus, Ben Barnard, Joe Brown, Josh Daley, Conor Fitzsimmons, James Glover, Liam Harris, Myles Harrison, Ata Hingano, Will Jubb, Jon Luke Kirby, Danny Kirmond, Matty Marsh, Ronan Michael, Ben Pickles, Harry Price, Jack Teanby, Jordan Thompson, AJ Towse.
