The Knights face Halifax Panthers in Sunday’s Round Twelve Betfred Championship match at the LNER Community Stadium, the second part of the Knights double-header.
With nine wins from the opening eleven rounds and seven consecutive wins, James Ford’s men go into this weekend full of confidence but the Head Coach, after a bruising victory on Bradford’s small pitch at Odsal, is only able to name twenty players.
Bailey Antrobus is named in the squad for the first time and could make his Knights debut in front of our home fans this weekend, while Jamie Ellis looks set to return to the starting line-up alongside Liam Harris after Brendan O’Hagan was ruled out with a minor injury.
Jacob Ogden, the victim of a high tackle from Bradford’s Sam Hallas, has been ruled out under the concussion protocols, the centre having left last weekend’s victory in the early part of the first half. The former London man was unable to return and is unavailable for selection this weekend.
With two half-backs named, hooker Sam Davis could come back into the team from the bench while teenage second-rower Toby Warren has been recalled from his loan spell at Leeds Rhinos to be included in the preliminary squad.
