York RLFC Foundation partners PE Pro for new Schools' offer

York RLFC Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership with PE PRO, a leading online platform designed to support teachers and coaches in delivering high‑quality, engaging physical education.

The Foundation has recently launched its updated Primary School Offer, sent to schools across North Yorkshire. The options allow schools to select programmes that are right for them and make use of those available. This investment is the latest in steps taken to ensure that we are a leading provider within our region.

PE PRO provides a wide range of online resources, lesson ideas and professional development opportunities, all aimed at helping those working in schools to plan and deliver safe, inclusive and enjoyable PE sessions. Through this partnership, York RLFC Foundation coaches will gain access to PE PRO’s online resources and training courses, further strengthening the support they provide to schools across York and North Yorkshire.

Former Super League rugby player Ryan Hudson created PE Pro in 2019, an online resource designed to upskill primary school teachers and deliver high-quality physical education. Developed through Elite Teaching Solutions, it offers lesson plans and videos split up by year group for primary-aged children, aimed at inspiring one million children to lead active lives.

PE Pro aims to reduce teacher planning time while ensuring engaging, active, and high-quality PE lessons and transforming Physical Education in Primary Schools. The PE Pro app offers comprehensive lesson plans, short demonstration videos, and assessment tools, including those for dance and gymnastics.

The platform will support coaches working directly with teachers by introducing new ideas, activities and delivery approaches that can be easily shared and adapted for the classroom. This added learning will complement the Foundation’s existing expertise across curriculum PE delivery, after‑school clubs, teacher CPD, festivals and inclusive sporting opportunities.
