York Valkyrie have announced their 2026 squad numbers!
2023 Woman of Steel, Tara-Jane Stanley returns to the squad after injury to regain the number 1 shirt.
Sade Rihari is back with the number 6 shirt, while Megan Pakulis is 15.
Chevelle Clarke, who has come through the Under 19s, has been given number 5.

I read the Valkyrie squad numbers announcement and it was cool to see how the team is shaping up for 2026 with players keeping their spots or moving into new roles on the field. Even though this season feels far off it made me think about how preparation and planning matter for athletes just like students.
